Tako Glass: A quick recap, part. 1

Spring is well under way, the weather is turning favorable, and the sun hangs a little higher in the sky. We're feeling energized here at Tako HQ, as we've been hard at work bringing lots of amazing new glass to you! We thought it would be a great time to recap some of the amazing drops and new artists we've been working with these last few months, just in case you missed out on any of thew new additions.

We came out of the winter season swinging! The year started off with CHAMPS Las Vegas (we covered this on the second episode of our podcast!) and we are still in the process of receiving and cataloguing all the amazing pipes and bongs and other accessories that Tako and Beezy picked out at the show. We've had some big product line drops from major brands, and we've been bringing in lots of new work from independent artists as well. We definitely recommend browsing through these artists' collections on www.TakoGlass.com because its a big list, and we only have enough time and space to give you a quick preview of each!

Sovereignty Glass

We were so stoked to become an official retailer of Sovereignty Glass, and the energy here at Tako HQ was buzzing as we prepared all the pieces for our in-shop pre-release and full launch on the website. So many of you scored amazing bongs, and we look forward to working with Sovereignty again!

Illadelph Glass

We immediately shifted to our Illadelph drop. We've carried Illadelph products before, but this was definitely our biggest order to date. We've got a nice selection of Illadelph bongs, as well as some out of production hand pipes(to the best of our knowledge, when these sell, they're gone for good!) as well as some sweet merch, and accessories.

Catfish Glass

We got our first drop Catfish Glass, which included some really funky Honyecomb Hammers and Spoons. Lots of super thick glass pipes with intricate fume work, and vibrant colors. These have been moving quick! So check em out before they're all gone!

VIP Glass

VIP Glass was a CHAMPS connection, and they sent us some really clean heady puffco glass attachments. Incyclers, Outcyclers, all with opal accents and unique action. They also sent us some OG dab rigs, and that massive Bazooka Tube that Tako bought right off the CHAMPS show floor!

Slob Glass

Tako's buddy Slob sent us some killer bubblers, hammers, and Saxophone Sherlocks. Slob is always in demand, and we're so pleased to be able to bring Slob Glass to you guys, so go check out the selection before it runs out!

Keys Glass

Another new-to-us artist(not to be confused with Key Glass Co. who we'll be covering in Part 2!) and we were totally blown away by the drop as we unpacked it. We were met with some outstanding mini rigs and hammers, with lots of UV accents and tons of picture-perfect millies of some our favorite cartoon characters.

Humboldt Glass

This drop brought us some nice oversized bubblers, and a ton of curiously shaped spoons. We love their two tone color fade curvy spoon pipes, and they sent a whole variety of square, triangle, and twisty hand pipes too. There was a ton of interesting textures in these pipes coming out of Humboldt California.

Schutz Glass

We received a slew of sweet chillums and spoons from Schutz Glass. The Coil effect inside their translucent green, blue and purple pipes is especially pleasing. They also sent over some heady galactic pipes which looks more like gothic horror, so its safe to say they offer quite the range!

We're barely scratching the surface here, so stay tuned for part 2 of the Tako Glass recap! We've got more artist to feature, and more glass drops to catch you up on, plus some sneak previews of things to come!
