Tako Glass: Expanding Our Horizons in 2025
At Tako Glass, 2025 is all about growth. Our mission to bring you the finest American-made glass hand pipes and handmade glass bongs remains at the heart of everything we do. This year, we’re tackling new challenges to expand our offerings, showcase emerging artists, and introduce exciting services—all while staying true to our roots at Tako HQ.
Overcoming Storage Challenges
Growth comes with hurdles, and our biggest challenge this year was storage. Unlike larger glass shops, Tako Glass doesn’t have a dedicated warehouse. Our HQ is a vibrant, all-in-one studio where Tako and Beezy craft stunning glass pipes and bongs at our state-of-the-art glassblowing bench, right alongside our shipping department where we pick, pull and package your orders to send them out. Until recently, our inventory—featured on TakoGlass.com—was stored in our attached office. But after stocking up at Winter CHAMPS, we quickly outgrew our bins and shelves.
To solve this, we transformed the loft above our office. Previously a makeshift guest room for visiting glassblowers, the loft now serves as dedicated storage for products from larger brands and producers. This shift allows us to focus our office storage space exclusively on independent American glass artists, whose unique pieces require individual photography and hands-on listings. By optimizing our space, we’ve created room to grow our inventory of handmade glass pipes, bongs, and accessories.
Stocking Up for You
To make the most of our new loft storage, we ordered a full pallet of bins—perhaps a bit ambitious at first! But after filling our steel racks, we realized we still have space to expand. This means more American-made glass pipes and handmade bongs are on the way to TakoGlass.com!
New Offerings and Promotions
Our expanded storage isn’t just about space—it’s about opportunity. With more room in the office, we’re sourcing a wider variety of independent American handmade glass pipes and bongs, the core of Tako Glass’s offerings. We’re also growing our accessory lineup, bringing you more slides, ash catchers, cases, bags, and other essentials to elevate your experience!
The loft has also enabled exciting new promotions. If you ordered from us in March, you likely received a custom Tako Glass T-shirt, pressed in-house at Tako HQ. We’ve carved out a corner of the loft for our T-shirt production, crafting each one to order. This is just one example of how we’re expanding our capabilities to serve you better.
