Emerald green is such a beautiful color. This glass crystal pipe is inspired by the precious gem. Lots of love and work went into this crystal pipe. The pipe has to be made first with heat in the flame at the glass studio. After the pipe has cooled to room temperature, it is taken to the cold working shop, where it is ground and faceted into the crystal shape. We use a tool called a Facetron, which is like a record player, but there is sandpaper spinning with water, where we can grind/cut/shape the glass or precious gem.
Dichroic glass tip supercharges the pipe and adds all the magical sparkle and rainbow of colors!
Remember, I take these pictures with great care and use lots of lighting to help you see the full beauty of my glass. No tricks, just stock camera phones and light. Don't forget to click on the photos to make them HUGE!
